The annual report of 2017!

Another year left to give the space for a new year-2018. Again new opportunities knock at our door steps. Never again we expect the bad memories of the past years. Again and again, we expect good news for our beloved country. Even we expect more happiness and peace for the rest of the world. The good memories impact on our lives same as the bad one does. Murder, extra judicial killing, undemocratic environment, the rise of fundamentalism or so called fundamentalism, or set-up violence and situation surrounding impact on the lives of everyone. Disappearance is another social or political evil that restricts our footsteps. Overall, all the unfavourable environment disfavours writing or creativity. Being a part of the society, we can’t ignore all of these. But even with the presence of all, we want to hope, we want to keep faith on the situation creators for good judgement or better judgement. Or even the country demands best judgement right now and right today to drive the nation ahead and ahead.

Here we want to flash back to the year, 2017 like all the years of the past since our starting. We would like to give a scenario of our visitors for the last year. In part of this effort, we continue providing the statistics of top country views of mahfujalam.wordpress.com for the year of 2017 to give the visitors of the site an impression of reaching our effort to every corner of the world like earlier years. Most interestingly, most of our visitors came from United States of America (5600+), India (2100+), United Kingdom (530+), Canada (350+), Malaysia (340+), Germany (250+), Australia (2401+), Saudi Arabia (210), France (160+), United Arab Emirates (150), Singapore (125+) along with Bangladesh (((13800+))). With our no surprise, the information or articles were continually used as reference in different sites easily accessible through Google. We feel really happy to notice such references, but still aware of unreferenced content of our site.

In 2016, We’ve got about (((32,500+))) hits compare to 23,500+ in 2016, 19,000+ in 2015, 14,000 in 2014, 8,500 in 2013 and 8,800 hits in 2012 without proper SEO and advertisement at all followed by the state ban on wordpress domain in Bangladesh for some part of the year. WE ARE FACING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES FOR WHICH WE CAN NOT UPDATE THE SITE PROPERLY LIKE BEFORE. AS A RESULT, WE ARE UNABLE TO UPDATE TEXT, COLOR, PICTURE properly which hampers regular updating and traffic for this site for a certain period of the year. People of this part of world have been using wordpress site in alternative way with restricted and limited facilities.

The Facebook page of this site (Facebook pageFrom the Heart of Bangladesh) has been started to spread its wing. This page ended with ((((105+))) likes at its childhood and now ready for more and more like! Please note that many fake ids were deleted from this ‘like’ list automatically by Facebook!  If you like, like with genuine ids!

Facebook page-From the Heart of Bangladesh

Fund for Bangladesh (FundForBangladesh.wordpress.com), the first funding website in Bangladesh with hundreds of funding opportunities

Bangladesh is a country of enormous opportunity for development.  With its huge number of population within a very small area of land, Bangladesh showed true commitment for development and promise for further development. Despite there were different challenges against the development, Bangladesh has progressed in different development indicators over the years. In this development, there were enormous contributions from Government and Non-Government organizations of home and abroad. By managing and feeding its huge population, Bangladesh showed true progress since its independence in 1971 from Pakistan after a bloodshed for 9 months.

From the very beginning of its journey as an independent country, Government of different developed countries and countries of Middle East stand behind Bangladesh with handful and heart full assistance. This assistance remains still and will be continued over the years, we can hope.

Bangladesh has been trying to overcome a transition period which will help to reach further development challenges. In this journey, different development partners and developed countries will play a strategic role. Different Government and Non-Government organizations of Bangladesh and other countries will play active role in this journey.

In this effort, FundForBangladesh aims to contribute through providing information related to funding, award and different development need gradually over the years. At present, this site brings up to date information of different donors of versatile categories. This site will also bring many more resources required by development organizations in near future.

The following list gives the expression of the effort of FundForBangladesh within just few months since inception.

Latest update of the List: 03rd, January, 2018

The list will be gradually expanded as and when new opportunity knocks. At present this site considers funding / opportunities applicable for Bangladesh and Bangladeshi GO/NGO organizations. This is also noteworthy that most of the opportunities listed in the above list are not applicable for Bangladesh alone. Most of the opportunities are also applicable for other countries of the world. So, this site helps other counties and their development effort as well.

Fund-Hope for Millions of people of Bangladesh

What is Fund?
In responding to the above question, Google says, ‘Fund means a sum of money saved or made available for a particular purpose.’ Yes, Fund is something collected or saved by intensive die-heart effort of kind organizations or individuals or Govt of developed countries for the welfare of the countries in need. A country like Bangladesh or the people of Bangladesh like many in the developed and under developed countries, greatly, grateful to these donors. Even the fund-raiser of the developed countries raises money through small contribution of school kids or different innovative campaigns. On the other hand, money comes from developed countries also contributed by the tax payers of the developed countries. So, the money come through proper funding channel is bringing love, solidarity and responsibilities of donors worldwide.

How the fund channeled to the beneficiaries?
Most of the fund channeled to the end beneficiaries through GO (Government) or NGO (Non-Government) organizations. Very few channeled through individuals.

What to do or not to do?
In this decade, Bangladesh Govt and different development organizations are very much concerned about funding from extremist organizations which may / can be used for extremists. In the below site, we will try to find some authentic donor organizations of the world.

Warning:
Please note that we will try to extremely screening those calls beneficial for Bangladesh. But still we want to recommend that applicant (s) / applicant organization(s) use own screening with best judgment about applying and receiving fund. We will not take any responsibility for any consequences regarding fund. This (fundforbangladesh) is just an informative site, so as to say.

Resources:
We will provide some additional resources which may be useful by different N/GO organizations.

Dedication: The following site is dedicated to the persons who are dedicated with their day-night hard work and who are rarely acknowledged and became visible by others.

Brief history and description:The Lalbagh Fort alias the Lalbagh Kella is a great specimen of Mughal dynasty in Bangladesh. Though this is not a ‘complete fort’ as planned, this gives the impression of the great thinking and dream of Mughal emperor due to its unique presentation of technology, military tactics, nature and architecture.

The construction of Lalbagh fort was started by Prince Muhammad Azam (Bengali: মোহাম্মদ আজম), third son of Mughal Emperor, Aurangzeb (Bengali: আওরঙ্গজেব)) in 1678 AD. The construction of the fort was continued for 15 months until he was recalled by his father, Aurangzeb. Subahdar Shaista Khan (Bengali: (Bengali: নবাব শায়েস্তা খাঁ), was his successor who did not continue the remaining work of the fort till his tenure in Dhaka upto 1688. Iran Dukht Rahmat Banu, nicknamed as Bibi Pari (Bengali: পরি বিবি), daughter of Shaista khan, died in the fort in 1684. After the departure of Shaista Khan from Dhaka, the capital was moved from Dhaka to Murshidabad. After the end of the Mughal dynasty, the fort became abandoned. In 1844, the area acquired its name as Lalbagh replacing Aurangabad, and the fort became Lalbagh Fort.
