The annual report of 2013!
Unlike last year, we came-up with the statistics of top country views of mahfujalam.wordpress.com for the year of 2013 to give the visitors of the site an impression of reaching our efforts to every corner of the world. Most interestingly, most of our visitors came from United States of America, United Kingdom, and India along with Bangladesh. The site was reached to 81 countries in all throughout the world!
With our no surprise, the information or articles were used as reference in different sites easily accessible through Google. We feel really happy to notice such references, but still aware of unreferenced content of our site. We will be happy if the information will be used with proper reference and prior authorization/notification. This year we’ve got over 8,500 hits without proper SEO and advertisement at all.
In brief, there were 56 new posts, growing the total archive of this blog to 143 posts in 2013. There were 606 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 48 MB. That’s about 2 pictures per day.
We have covered the following in this year-
- The National Martyrs’ Memorial alias Shahid Minar, Savar,Dhaka
- The Sadhinotar Sangram Sculpture alias The struggle of freedom Sculpture, Dhaka University
- The Hawker of Love, the Hawker of patriotism
- Strange look of sky in Dhaka
- The Boat Series
- The Firewood Series
- Largest Website link collection of Bangladesh!
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 8,500 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 3 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
In this context, we want to recall the annual report for the year of 2012 as it was prepared,
600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 8,800 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 15 years to get that many views.
