Nidhir Saha, name of a greatest Bangladeshi Bengali who established the first ISO accredited printing and Publication Company in Malaysia that controls half of the entire market share of the country
He is a man whose success was featured as the cover story in Malaysian, Singaporean, and other Asian magazines. The honorable Sultan of the Malaysian state recognized him with the title, ‘Dato’ for his success in social and business activities. He is no one, but Nidhir Saha (Bengali: নিধীর সাহা), a great man of Bangladesh. He is the son of Late Sudhir Chandra Saha.
He is the son of Dakshinpara of Savar, Dhaka. He was born in 1964. After completing his study in Adharacandra High School of Savar, he was admitted to Mohammadpur Graphics Art Institute of Dhaka in 1981. By the end of the studies there, he moved to Malaysia for higher studies with scholarships.
The person, who came to Malaysia merely for higher education, had built a huge business concern. He established an international level printing business organization, BS Print Malaysia with 60 thousand square feet area in the capital, Kuala Lumpur, beside the high way of Jalan inarahana of Kucailamaya, Malaysia.
80 local and foreigners including 30 Bangladeshis have been working there. The company has workers from Nepal, Myanmar besides Malaysian.
In the beginning, Mr. Saha saved two thousand ringgit from the money of Scholarship with which he started his business. The beginning was quite difficult. At first, he collected work orders and got supplied after printing from other presses. In short, he worked as the middleman. In 1991, he registered his factory with the name of ‘BS Print Malaysia’.
He need not look back from then. At present his organization controls 45-50% of total Malaysian publishing market. He also gets regular work orders from United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, even from Australia. And gradually his company became the first ISO accredited company of Malaysia (‘ISO 12647-2-certified printshop’) in the printing sector.
Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah of Pahang state honored him with an award, ‘Dato’ in 2013. He is engaged in business activities, as well as various social activities. He has been active for a long time with the Rotary Club of Putrajaya.
